"This gym is a god send. I was looking for something different than all the one-size-fits-all offerings out there. I'm a mature women who has been training forever. After trying some classes at other gyms in the area, I went to Resilience and immediately felt right at home. Kevin is knowledgeable and creative with the workouts, and the other members are super friendly and helpful. The group class environment is extremely comfortable, fun, and personalized for everyone based on their current progress. Adding 1-1 sessions with Kevin has also increased my strength and mobility in areas that have been damaged by arthritis and have affected me negatively for years. "I haven't been to his gym since Kevin always comes to us, but whether it's at the beach, a park or the house, it's always a fun workout. He brings a variety things to keep it interesting while kicking our butts at the same time! I've seen him put a TRX around a tree. I love the boxing gloves. If you want a workout you that will challenge you and distract you from the fact you're working out, I highly recommend him!"

He also manages to pull off the impossible, which is to make the work fun. He is a great trainer for general fitness, but is really knowledgeable about surf fitness. "I was a little nervous to jump in and join one of Kevin's personal training classes but he made me feel really welcome and right at home. He showed me all the perfect postures to use during the different exercises and pushed me just enough to kick butt but not enough to scare me. The class was really fun and incorporated a bunch of different workouts I would have never thought of doing on my own. His space is perfect size and has all the right pieces of equipment to have an epic work out!"

"Kevin is the man. He really cares about the individual, and does a great job varying his workouts and keeping things fun and exciting. He has a wealth of fitness knowledge. Some of the different programs he has introduced to me: Tabata, HIT, foundation training, yoga, obstacle courses, strength training and olympic lifts, among many others. It also isn't all about inside the gym, Kevin has great advice for overall health, wellness, and diet. He sets himself apart at a personal level by taking the time to get the know the individual and what works best for them, while still challenging them to succeed and reach their goals. I would recommend Resilience Personal Training to any individual, whether it be the die hard training to do a paddle to Catalina Island, or the average joe that just needs some motivation to get back into a good routine. "Resilience Personal training is a fantastic place! I am 46 years old and have been training with Resilience for about 2 years now. My experience has been amazing. This phrase is thrown around too freely, but I really am in the best shape of my life. I train for overall health, better sports performance and to look better at the beach. I look forward to working out at Resilience Training because Kevin keeps it fresh with a variety of sports and exercises. He incorporates Foundation Training, stretches that help decompress the spine. Kevin has helped me work through injuries and I'm feeling so much stronger as a result. This is a great place to work out because the classes are small and we all get individual attention!

Kevin is such a great trainer. He's very encouraging, makes you work hard and makes it fun. I started in my mid-50's and was not in great shape. I am so much stronger and in much better shape. It's not too late!
